Dogs and Owner Responsibilities

EXCITING NEWS!

We now have two designated dog potty areas.  These areas have been established and will continue to be improved for your convenience and to preserve our common green space for all residents to enjoy.

There is significant landscape damage from our pets. This damage weighs heavily on the community's budget with increasing landscape costs. The new dog potty areas are designed to prevent further damage and regrow grass and shrubbery where damage has already occurred. Continued improvements will be made as funds allow, which will make these areas even more desirable for both you and your pets. If your pet does not like the potty areas, you should use the curb lawn up on Arlington Ave.  Always pick up behind your pet.  Owners or renters who persistently do not follow these guidelines will be fined.

Essential courtesy directives for you and your dogs.
  1. Leash and control your dog.
  2. Use dog potty areas exclusively for potty.
  3. Pick up behind your dog.
  4. Place refuse in a proper container, out of sight, and smell of adjoining neighbors.
  5. Keep barking to a minimum.
Owners or renters who do not follow these guidelines will be notified and fined.  If there is a persistent deviation from these courtesy directives, we will be forced to raise the HOA dues for all dog owners.

We say all this with a firm smile......backed by the by-laws.
